Zbook 17 G3 Machine Not Comitted

I replaced my motherboard with one from ebay and I’m getting the machine is in a not committed state error on boot up. I went through and put in all of the machine info. When I searched I didn’t see any posts tha seemed helpful.
    TIA

Working on these laptops will easily get anyone committed.

"Warning: Machine is not in committed state" on bootup - HP Support Community - 5624947

Contact the vendor of the motherboard as well for advice as well.

I just went back through my ebay history and I bought it nearly two years ago, so going back to the seller is not an option.

Is there not a way to get rid of this that does not involve going to hp?

yes if you have all the info use NBDmiFit, after to many tries / posts you have to unlock the descriptor again to complete.
