Bit curious if it's possible to use Pentium J5040 and upgrade the ram to 8GB on this model, got the equipment to work with SMT and BGA components though not sure if there will be limitation with bios or a whitelist / pairing that'll prevent it from working?
I've seen other variants with the same board using N4100 & N5000 though still had 4GB of ram, also my eMMC is on its way out so I'm also wondering if any eMMC replacement that'll fit would work? Though might be better off seeing if its possible to get the unpopulated m.2 functioning as I'm sure that can be made to work as its currently just the pads for one, know I can replace it with something 10x better for $100 - $200 but has sentimental value so kinda wanna mess with it and see if I can get little more use out of it.
So pretty much would like to know limitations regarding the bios, if there is anything that'll prevent the machine using the replaced components and if there is a potential solution.
