Dell Liatitude E7440 - ambient thermal sensor

Hi,

I need help finding the thermistor/sensor responsible for ambient temp. detection in E7440. The laptop randomly powers off with thermal event "ambient thermal sensor -148*C". I have schematics and board view but unable to determine which component is responsible for sensing the ambient temp. I simlpy don't understand how it work from the schematic below:



Could somebody more experienced help?

Try changing the value of R394 from 1.58K to a higher value say 10K.

As far as I understand, R394 sets up the threshhold, that could be some workaround.
