Dont work keyboard and touchpad i checked +3valw on ENE910 are present, i replaced ENE ic but problem same.
any help?

Also try another keyboard, i try to press F2 at start for to enter into bios but nothing

External keyboards not working in the BIOS may be normal, I've had it happen on plenty of laptops.

This is the solution,
cause of keyboard and touchpad not working is ATI SB460

hello, i have exact notebook (Aspire 5100) and wont work keyboard and touchpad. At first no display on LCD but work on external. Now i have picture on both LCD + external but no luck with keyboard and touchpad. Is this ATI SB460 fail?

i also have +3valw on ENE910, will it help to reflow ATI SB460?

Hi

(unfortunatelyy I still can't start a new thread, so asking here)
Got an Acer Aspire 5100 laptop with Compal HCW51 LA-3121P motherboard.
It stoped during operation.

The 1.2V-psu died. (+1.2VP_HT)
PQ27 FET got shorted, therefore the B+ rail protection kicked in.
Removing PJP10 jumper, I measure 7.3 Ω to GND on the 1.2V_HT rail, is this
acceptable? Would Give around 165mA.
C75 and C24 are good.

Someone who still has this motherboard, please help me by measuring the resistance on C24. (like I said, I got 7.3 Ω)
