Acer AOA Happy D255 / 260, No Sign of life

    Dear All,

Need some advise here, this laptop make me confuse a little bit. At first found TPS511125 (PU4) gets hot when plug in charger , replace with new chip and still same problem with new replacement, measure it with my DM (see attachment) on charging IC ISL6251 and TPS511125, with result :

    PU5 (ISL6251)
    #1 : 5v -- #13 : 0v
    #2 : 1.2v -- #14 : 0v
    #3 : 0.26v -- #15 : 5v
    #4 : 0v -- #16 : 4.9v
    #5 : 0v -- #17 : 1.6v
    #6 : 0v -- #18 : 2.2v drop to 0.8v
    #7 : 0v -- #19 : 19v
    #8 : 2.3v -- #20 : 19v
    #9 : 0v -- #21 : 2.2v drop to 0.8v
    #10: 0.8v -- #22 : 2.2 drop to 0.8v
    #11: 0.11v -- #23 : 0v
    #12: 0v -- #24 : 19v

Is it normal ? or should I change the TPS511125 again? ( Still have one on my drawer ) need your advice about this

    Best Regards

measure both of them , for tps511125 you can see on attachment for result. marking with green for the voltage, i'm sorry about that. make you confuse
And isl6251 only for reference to make more clear

Looks like your ISL6251 is ok, the fact that it gives you 19V at B+. Before you replace your TPS51125 again, isolate the shorted/defective component(s) and replace them first.

There is a short somewhere along the load side of +3VALWP or +5VALWP.
