No display Samsung R580 Nec Tokin maybe?

Hi guys,

Laptop starts up normally but no display, I m pretty sure this is not relate to GPU or a chipset problem
There is a nec tokin (OE687) next to the CPU socket which looked suspect to me, is there anyone saw this problem before ?

start measuring VCORE voltage first, if you suspected NEC/TOCIN. With the given information, i cannot tell you anything. you should start measuring primary and secondary voltage supplies, if voltages ok, reprogram bios chip. check xtals with scope, then you may reflow.

after one day of struggle I find out the LVDS cable is disconnected from LED screen because they forgot to put tape on LVDS socket.
so the mobo is ok, thanx..
