if you have a spare screen i would suggest replacing your screen. does it work with an external monitor?

If the issue is present while using an external monitor as suggested by valiant007 then just
Replace the RAM with other tested (or New) from other Laptop. I had encountered similar problem sometime back with a bad RAM.

2920 appears to be have problem with its vcore, replacing NEC TOKINS 0907 would have been the solution, if it is stand still then you better check on North Bridge/GPU Chip. but it seems so rare case for 2920 had problems with the GPU chip. Every laptops almost have the same pattern symptomps on each batch.
