If your laptop is not powering on check the PQ1 and PQ2 mosfets they tend to go bad on this model of laptop. I was able to repair one of these over a year ago that had this problem and my son currently uses it almost daily.

PQ1 TO PQ3 ok. no standby voltage from power switch.

i dont have the right schematic, so hard to troubleshoot.
