Compaq presario CQ70 no picture

This laptop work normal on external monitor but wont show picture on primary screen.

Is any option else reball nvidia chip ? model is NG523EAR#ABZ with intel processor.

Is it completely dead, or it turn on the light but nothing on screen. Or even it has something on display but no light???
Maybe your display panel is dead, I think it is 99%

Hi. Is dead, no picture no backlight at all. I suspect inverter or nvidia chip problem. I dont have ekstra inverter for check, how can I measure this inverter if is OK ??

Now I try with 100% work LCD screen and flash bios with new version and no changes, still work OK on external.

I think I found bad spot, the LCD flat cable is burned, 5 or more wires is melted between, so I use gordian knot procedure and freed wires, then make bypass. Now screen is white and if I turn laptop ON near (cca 1m) from home radio, the radio sugnal is interfere

So I think I must do reball again, because this problem impact on radio even if the LCD cable and inverter are not connected to motherboard. I think the nvidia chip is not proper seat on motherboard or is faulty.

I try and hope I will sucess, fingers crosed

Hi. So I reballing nvidia and intel chipset marked red on picture. I will reball even last chip on this board, and maybe wil work.

If any idea what can be caused this feller ?

On start got white screen for 2-3 seconds then turn black and no changes, still work on external monitor OK.

try to re flow your nvidia gpu.

Hi. I reball nvidia twice and intel one time, mark red on picture, I do not reball chip marked with cyan color.

Nisam još uspio, nije bilo vremena, ali sutra ču da probam još ovaj poslednji čip pa ako proradi OK inače nemam više ideja. Ali mi je čudno jer lcd kabal je bio zapaljen na mestu gde se najviše gužva tokom otvaranja i zatvaranja, ja sam lepo fino promenio sve zapaljene žice ali nisam 100% dali su svi u redu, jesam rasklopio čitav kabal ali ništa neobično se ne vidi, ma ako ne uspije uzeču drugu ploču i novi kabal, ali ovo ču da ostavim na stranu jer me stvarno zanima šta nije OK.

try new cables, maybe that one burned, also try to measure voltages on lcd connector on motherboard. use schematics to see what voltage should be and take one by one pin. Maybe burned wires shorted something on board that burned
