HP mini 110 keyboard/touchpad freezes

Has anyone had the problem of a keyboard and mouse freezing once you start the OS? this is a hp netbook mouse moves but then you can't tap the touchpad to open anything, but you can use the touchpad buttons to complete the task.

I signed in as a guest and everything was okay. I don't understand this?

try to boot the laptop with available LIVE cd and see whether it is OS or not
