Can someone help me please. The laptop was restarting and having BSOD with error PAGE FAULT IN AREA so I removed the RAM expansion installed
then tried to reinstall it again but the laptop was not turning on so I removed it again but same result (power indicator off and charging indicator off even when connected to charger).
I didn't know what happened but when I left for a while and then I came back the laptop was on (power indicator was on but no display) so I force shutdown so I can try connecting to the charger but still not charging. Tried turning it on again, no luck.
When I opened it I smelled something was burnt and after searching for a schematic the component was U6201. Schematic from here: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=83539
I was hoping someone can tell me more about this component and if I can still repair this. Because I was looking for the data sheet and all I can find was a 6 pin U6201, the one on the board has 8 pins. Attached here is the burnt part
