Hello dear like minded people
I am new here and would directly ask for some advice / help 🙂
I have an ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 GA401II-BMT140T laptop. When I bought the laptop it wouldn't turn on at all. I found out that the Super IO IC - IT5125VG-128 died and replaced it.
After that I was able to install Windows. However, when I was in the setup of Windows after the installation, the laptop went off and the fans were spinning at 100%. It did this again and again until I managed to exit Windows setup once. The GPU I tested with Mats / Mods and there is no error on the memory - especially the drivers of the GPU are not installed which is why I ruled this out anyway. After that, the onboard ram came to mind and the good Sorin made a video a few days ago about how he removes the onboard ram and disables it in the BIOS. This I have also done and since then I'm stuck in the black screen...
(
Meanwhile I reballed the old onboard ram and soldered it back to the motherboard - I also flashed the original backup file back to the bios ROM. But unfortunately I still have no picture. I have read and flashed the Bios with the CH341A Mini Progammer.
My guesses are that the probably defective Ram has now finally died due to the soldering process and / or the CH341A is no longer sufficient for such work and the Bios is now faulty.
Thank you already for the suggestions and please excuse me for the long message 🙂
Best regards from Germany
