Broken power button (keyboard). How to jump start notebook?

    Hi

Yesterday while browsing the internet with my laptop I noticed that 3 keyboard buttons were not working anymore.

Today, the notebook doesn't boot anymore. My assumption is that the keyboard went bad because the power button is on the keyboard.

Is there a way to jump start directly from the motherboard?

I tried to short all the pins of the connector for the keyboard cable with no luck.

I found the schematics here on badcaps, but I didn't find the pin out for the keyboard. But truth be told, I am just a hobbyist who tries to fix everything by myself and I don't fully understand schematics.

The laptop in question is a Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro 15.6".

Here is the link to the schematics https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=120749

Would be amazing if someone could help me .

    Thank you!

It's the adjacent pin - #25, briefly short pin #26 to pin #25 to start the laptop.

Thank you. It can't kill the notebook if you touch the wrong pins with a metal object right?

Don't push your luck using "metal objects" back and forth at the powered motherboard please, just solder tiny wire at pin 26, and touch the wire briefly to any ground pad to start the machine, that would be the safest approach to do the job.
