Greetings to all. I have a laptop ACER ex 2540 extensa motherboard B5W11 LA-E061P whose KB9022Q D chip literally went up in smoke. Is it a programmed chip?

Ok thanks. Unfortunately I'm not able to program this chip, I don't have a programmer and I don't know what to put in it. I'll have to buy it already programmed. The laptop won't turn on or charge.

Not sure if this helps since you still require the contents of the flash unless the BIOS will program a fresh (blank) IC (?):

In practice you have to program the empty chip with the bios file. I have an EZP 2019 programmer for 24 25 26 93 series chips, I don't think it is suitable for this.Are there no adapters?Comment
