Asus GA401QM - Power Light / Nothing else

I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

I am working on an Asus GA401QM laptop. The power light is on, but when I hold the power button, the light goes off. However, nothing else happens - no fans, keyboard lights, and the CPU or GPU do not heat up.

Where should I start looking first?

Remove all power. Meter in resistance mode.

Check the resistance to ground of each coil. Checking for low resistance power rails but with no power to the logic board.
