Hi can anyone help me on my laptop. When LCD flex is connected to MB it has no display both monitor and external output (HDMI) but when I disconnect flex HDMI output is on. What seems to be the problem with this. Thanks folks.

When flex cable is connected, hdmi output is disabled by default and hence you're not getting any display on hdmi monitor. Your problem is no display on internal screen.
Link schematic if available. Motherboard markings? Start by checking voltage on Edp connector.Be careful while measuring.
