Lenovo Ideapad 3 14iiL05 no display when lcd is connected

Hi can anyone help me on my laptop. When LCD flex is connected to MB it has no display both monitor and external output (HDMI) but when I disconnect flex HDMI output is on. What seems to be the problem with this. Thanks folks.
