Hi, today on the menu i've got an hp Pavilion X360 14-dh1017np that had it's main power rail shorted with 4 blown 10uf caps and one of the DrMos.
Replaced all, and now the laptop does power on, but when it starts to load Windows freezes within a few seconds.
CPU VCore has 0.931v in first Coil, 1,045 in 2nd coil and the third has nothing. Resistance to ground is 3,1 Ohms, which should be ok, but when I measure in continuity mode from ground to one side of the coil the multimeter beeps. Could be because the treshold is so low that it actually gives it as short.
This coil is for 1V_VCCGT which should be for the iGPU, maybe will only power up when iGPU is on load
Motherboard is FAROE DIS X32 MB MV (18742-1 0GG02)
Best Regards
