    Stepdown ASUS s530FN

    Hello everyone. My laptop is dead, and i found out that the Stepdown is gone.

    Im trying to buying a new one.

    This is what i get from the scheme:

    RT8249CGQW

    And what i see on the IC itself is

    2n=5j
    J05

    I see many stepdowns online to buy if i type RT8249CGQW but noone has 2n=5j

    Most of them are 2n = 2j or other stuff.

    Can i buy them?

    Also, can anyone explain me what 2n = #J means?

    2N= is the product code, the rest is date code. Check the data sheet.

        No difference. Just purchase the one with 2N=. That is all.

        When a company builds the IC, they change the mfr datecode to match the batch.

        Often is the WEEK of the YEAR and the YEAR of the production.

        You can buy these from Aliexpress.

          I also noticed that a mosfet is gone. on schematics i have PQH8701
          On the mosfet itself i have m3092m 84687e.

          I found something only looking for the mosfet's label.

          Can you address me to what to buy regarding it?

            Certainly. The same vendor as linked above will have these parts.

            Reference:

            QM3092M6

            They will share a link and just compare the physical shape to your part. Should be identical. These are common mosfets out of Asia.

                But regarding the mosfet in the link. How did you find it was QM3092M6?

                Id like to learn. Because the label was m3092m. What does this label mean, and what does qm3092m6 means?

                How did u find it?

                To explain, i would not have buy it because its a different label.
