Compaq NX7400 +VBATR short to gnd

I have Compaq NX7400 with Inventec Gallo 1.0 motherboard.

+VBATR is shorted to GND, charger is going on/off because of protection, how to start finding fault?

Solved using thermal camera ... capacitor C12 was shorted.
