IIRC, Intel RST driver needs to be loaded on these during Windows setup.

If I get anything funky during Windows install, I use an older build first (like 1803 or something). Something changed from 20H2 and older builds sometimes work. Worth a shot, providing you don't have some underlying hardware issue.
You can get old builds via Rufus with the download option. You will need the latest version of Rufus though. MS changed something on their servers I think which broke that feature and they provided a workaround in latest build.Comment

got an Acer here with the problem that when i'm installing windows it just crashes (turns off) and not going back on as soon as i press the power button.
I've tried it with different sticks and windows versions and also with windows 10 and 11 but it's the same problem.
The only difference is that when i want to install windows 11 it crashes during the installation screen when "getting files ready for installation" at 25% - 30% progress and
when i install windows 10 it goes trough until the restart and at "getting devices ready" it... -
I’ve got this Lenovo M725s with an AMD Ryzen 2400G here on the bench. Supposedly it’s only good for win 10. Win 11 doesn’t support the Ryzen 2400G. However Win 11 does support the Ryzen 2600?
there are a lot of CPUs that fit the AM4 socket, but this mother board based on a 450 series does not support the Ryzen 3000series or up. I think due to bios limitations from Lenovo.
Now here things get vague: In one way Lenovo sez the M725s’s are not upgradable to run win 11. Other hand Win 11 supports the AMD 2600 and the 2700.
Anyone got an M725s with a Ryzen 2600... -

I have a Lenovo Yoga C630-13Q50 Windows on Snapdragon laptop that I bought used here in Japan. They only sell the 4GB RAM version here in Japan so I decided to purchase an 8GB motherboard off of Aliexpress. The motherboard works without issue but Product ID, MTM, and Lenovo SN entries in the BIOS are INVALID.
I would like to input the values from the old motherboard. After searching the internet I learned about LVAR and have tried to use it to input the values but I get the following error.

I have Lenovo Ideapad 100-15ibd and can not install Windows no matter what. Tried Windows 7 under AHCI or Compatible with bootable flash drive and always error while expanding files at 90 something percent. Changed few RAM modules but the same problem, changed 3 HDD the same, tryed with SSD the same. Changed several usb flash drives, 3.0 and 2.0 the same, tried Rufus and Ventoy but the same problem. If i try to install with a DVD disk it finishes expanding but won't continue the second phase of the install after first restart, gets stuck either on Windows logo or blue screen comes... -
