    iPad Pro 12.9 A2378 backlight problem

    Hi Everyone,

    i am working on iPad A2378 that has problem with backlight.
    hereby i attached the picture of the connector. the red circle i made does anyone know is it a resistor or an L? because i checked with continuity mode and it doesnt beep.

      I have a strange problem with my iPad Pro 12.9 4Gen / A2229. When I start the device, it stays on the Apple logo, but when I heat the back of the device with a hair dryer, the device boots, but this time there is an interesting problem. The iPad is charging, but there is no USB data on the computer. The USB charging port has been changed and the chips seem normal, but I have given it to 2 different Apple services in Latvia, but the repair could not be done. Is there anyone who can help with this? Can someone support the repair by sending only the motherboard within Europe? Thank you.

      Hi,

      No backlight on iPad 9. Made some measurements around LCD connector, please find on attached picture below.

      Filter marked with green star has been replaced since it blown.

      Yellow values measured relative to GND. Red ones measured on components. Filters seems to be ok, but before and after the replaced filter the resistance is very low. Is it ok?

      Where this filter is connecting to?

      Hi. I have a problem with Asus ROG GA402RK. The keyboard suddenly stopped working along with the kb backlight. I replaced the keyboard and the ITE KBC chip and the problem is still the same. I don't see any passive elements that look damaged. Does anyone have an idea?

      As the title states i am an owner of an LG flatron M2362DP 23 inch monitor Tv. Since i currently use it as a tv i'm posting the problem on the "troubleshooting tvs and video sources" section.
      I'm from Greece so English isn't my native language, so please forgive me for any mistakes i make.
