enter both bios (8mb and 6mb) in the HxD program and cut from the 8mb one and paste to the 6mb one ... after which cleans the ME region..
Due to a lack of donations, server free space at a critical level, and possible closure of Bios Requests all donations are welcome, click:

so..we know that the original bios has 8MB and we also know that the update from the website has 6.25MB...well 8MB-6.25MB=???MB....???? cut from the original 8MB bios and add over 6.25MB and the bios is ready... after which we clean the ME region...

what I want you to understand is that it differs from one laptop to another and from one update to another.. it is not always the same, you have to calculate according to the update.. calculate the cat( ???? ) and so cut... or ... the update starts with "78 E5 8C 8C" search in the HxD program for this suite in "hex-values" in the original bios and from "0" to this value, cut and copy in the update....try...in the end you will succeed...

There is an easy way to work it out.First of all make another copy of your original backup,so that the work is done to the copy,it makes it easier as well to copy any DMI or key from the original.

If you open the update and choose "select all" you will see the file length is 640000 .

Open your backup copy.If you selected the block length 0 - 640000 thats what length the file will be.
Scroll all the way to the end of the file and put your cursor between the last two FF`s ,then right click and choose select block, that will set the end offset to 7FFFFF as that is where the cursor was.
Enter 640000 as the start offset and look at the file length !!! its 1C0000

Select the block again and enter 1C0000 as the start offset, and 7FFFFF as the end offset. Now look at the file length, its 640000

Go back to the update, select all, copy and paste into the backup copy and save but keep the tab open

Now there`s just the win key to copy across from the original backup to the backup copy (and ME firmware to clean)

HP Elitedesk 800 G2 DM / Mini -> Can't get BIOS flashed, tried multiple. Update Brick
                  by Datahoarder
                  HP EliteDesk 800 G2 MINI/DM (1L PC)

I have 40 of these units. All of which i tried to update bios with HP's utility got bricked. All of them were bios password locked, i used the jumper thing to reset it. Couple updated bios, one of which worked fine for _ONE_ boot. Second is now mixed with rest, i don't know which it is specifically so have not retested it.

All had some MESpilock failed errors on (my) first boot of the unit.

                  ASUS TP500LA BIOS request/repair/merge?
                  by jbonavita
Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
                  Some issues
                  A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized

                  Things I tried

1- Update / clear ME: Took the non working bios, made a backup, and did this: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...theory/trouble...

[REQUEST] Dell G3 3579 BIOS Password & AMI Protected Range/BIOS Guard Unlock
                  by zenius
Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...

Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 (serial number: MP2BFZEF) bios request
                  by Wahaz
                  Hello,

I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....
