    Hey again.
Just a quick update, flashed the file above and still unfortunately not booting.
It basically powers on for 2 seconds, then off etc. This happens non stop. Left it like that for 5 minutes.
I flashed the original Chromium image back, and it boots straight to the Amazon log in screen without problems.
    Any other ideas please?

    Thanks again

Hey badcaps, I just wanted to stop in to to confirm, anyone searching for a way to get past the amazon chrome os for the m710q 10YC the quoted peste bin works! flashed with the ch341a from amazon.
the one I bought did not have the 3.3v fix.

This video helped alot for using the ch341a
    youtube.com/watch?v=lmYXiE2fQ6E&t=147s

My steps. (I was using flashrom v1.2 on ubuntu 20.04 for this)
    1. In lenovo m710q, unplug power remove cmos battery.
    2. Using the ch341a I read bios 3 times then verify checksum each time.
    3. Flash new clean bios (thank you peste)
System started up no problem after this.
Watch the youtube, he shows you exactly what to do (using linux)

Went on to flash new firmware from lenovo support page using rufus.
this link will help with that.
    https://jackstromberg.com/2020/02/tu...-devices-bios/

    steps for rufus.
    1. Download bios firmware .zip
    2. extract to folder.
    3. Create FreeDos image with rufus.
    4. Once rufus completes, copy ALL files from extracted zip to freedos usb.
    5. It will ask if you want to overwrite autoexec. Select YES!
    6. with your now working lenovo, F1 into bios change boot order to usb.
    7. insert FreeDos/Rufus/Lenovo-Firmware usb into it then start up and finish the process.

There you have it guys. Huge thanks to the people in this thread. Without you all I would have never figured this out!

    1. Flash your bios chip with any compatible image.

    2. Download bios update image and make a usb stick using Rufus and .ROM files. (inside disk image)

    3. Put your usb and power on PC. Wait few times and complete bios update procsess.

My pc updated bios through Windows Update and I was greeted with BLACK SCREEN WITH CPU FAN MAX SPEED. I don't think there is even a screen signal, because it triggers my monitor for a couple seconds and then the monitor turns off. I tried the other outputs as well.
    1. I tried clearing bios, resetting bios, removed the CMOS battery, removed m.2 ssd, wifi, and ram. Still black screen with CPU fan blasting.
    2. I tried using the Lenovo BIOS CD and BIOS USB, but neither worked. At least I couldn't get anything to work.
    3. I could only locate two chips that look like bios chips. Could someone verify this
