Hey, I'm dealing with a Manufacturing Program mode. Can anyone help me?
The story: HP Z440 Workstation's BIOS was unsuccessfully updated (not by me), and the workstation stayed in a warehouse without a cmos battery for 2 years (if it matters, cuz I got POST-error 161, now it is gone).
When I got this workstation I had to use a usb programmer to flash BIOS. Everything works, but I have a “System is booting in Manufacturing Program mode…: ** boots remains before lock.”
So.. is there any way to lock this mode? Is it possible to restart the counter? Im afraid there's only a few boots left.

I've already tried BCU, set Serial Number, Product number, Feature byte and set MP mode to Lock. Everything works, but the system still boots in a MPM.
    please help

      Restart until counter reaches 0.

Check other things first before assuming there`s a bios problem. Check RAM, CMOS battery voltage, PSU

I changed the cmos battery, I changed the ram but I don't know what the psu is. The bios ic was previously removed and the solders were tampered with, but there was also play in a capacitor at the bottom. I measured it with a meter and did not encounter any problems. I contacted the person I bought the pc from and he said it was done by the service 1 week ago, but I thought the bios software was gone because the bios ic was tampered with. Can I remove the integrated circuit and write the bios again?

I understand the PSU now, there is no problem with it either, I tried removing it from another PC and the result is the same
