I am troubleshooting a Dell XPS 12 with motherboard 9Q23 (Compal LA-8821P) that failed during a Windows 10 update. The system powered off abruptly and never booted again. Initial behaviour- No display at any time (internal or external)
- Power button would immediately shut the system off
- System auto-powers when AC adapter is connected (battery removed)
- Beep code: 3 beeps – pause – 3 beeps (continuous)
- Fan never spins

Hi, I have an MSI PRO B660M-G DDR4 board with damaged BIOS and i need a bios dump from a real board, along with MAC, UUID and Serial Number info (eg. a BIOS screenshot and pictures from the board stickers).
I need to reconstruct the bios on my board, based on another bios image form a real board - meaning a bios image containing MAC address, UUID and Serial number. A stock BIOS is not suffiecient, as it is impossible to discover where the MAC, UUID and SerialNumber are stored. Hello everyone,
My hp laptop was defective from the day I bought it. I think some of the components on the motherboard were changed and I could not find the right bios for it. It randomly freezes and I tried almost everything to fix it before I came to the conclusion that it was a bios issue. I tried installing another bios on it and ended up with a non working laptop. Now i can't even open my laptop. Here is the thing, the model number of the laptop on the back of the cover is different from what i see in bios. And the wierdest thing is that the product name and the product number... -
Hi,
I have this board, where I have exchanged the LGA1151 socket. During testing I discovered, that the large PCIEX16 slot won't by no force work in x16 mode, but keeps to work in x8 mode only.
I tested this with GPU-Z, also with Render Test (but tried also Furmark and Heaven Benchmark - no effect).
Tested on Core i5-9600K as well as on an Pentium G5420 and MSI NVIDIA GTX1070 and 2 other cards, including RTX3060Ti.
Board architecture definitely allows x16 mode, as all 16 PCIe lanes are present between CPU and main GPU slot (nearest to CPU).

I am looking for a full SPI BIOS dump for the following laptop:- Model: Lenovo V15 G4 ABP
- Type: 83CR
- CPU: Ryzen 7 (Radeon Graphics)
- Board: KV483 / NM-F631
- BIOS chip: XMC 25R128 (16MB / 16,777,216 bytes)
- Region: India / IRU variant
- Condition: No power, no LEDs, no fan
- Laptop stopped powering on after a BIOS update
- AC adapter and DC-in confirmed OK (19–21V present)
- No shorts found on main rails
- SPI BIOS was read/written successfully with programmer (verify OK)
- Tried official Lenovo BIOS (EXE extracted & trimmed) — still dead
- Suspecting wrong
