Hello guys, I need some guidance in what to look for. A costumer brought in an EVGA RTX3080 XC3 that often doesn't display picture in any of its ports, either HDMI or DisplayPort. But when it works, it does do it flawlessly, with no issues at all. The costumer used to live in a flat that was very damp and humid, so the cooler as some corrosion on it. I've cleaned up all that was possible and also in the mainboard. Had to retouch some of the pins in one of the Displayport connector because it was looking bad.
It worked fine for a couple of days but the issue came back, dissassembled again and starting probing around.
Some weird readings where the metal bracket holds the cooler, in the middle there are some caps, and some have very low resistance or seem shorted. Don't know if it is normal. Had measured before the 12v and 3.3v rails and all seems fine.
