RX470 / Vega 56 repair
Hello everyone I've got lot of Gpus for good buck and I'm trying to repair them watched few videos and got pretty good understating of basic voltage rails etc.
I came here for help with further diagnosing the problem which are occuring.
1. Vega 56
This card had blown mosfet on power stage 3 which took the doubler there aswell. Changed it from spare card. tried the card all voltage rails are present except the VCORE. On powerup it jumps to 0.9V and then drops to 0.
2. Vega 56
The same above things are happening but the difference is it was on power stage 1. took mosfet and doubler and 5V regulator aswell changed it. same result.
3. XFX RX470 8GB
All voltage lines are present but no display output. it shows on gpuz with mem clock but no core clock and few missing things.
4. XFX RX470 8GB
same as above but difference is it posts on my test bench with corrupted screen but won't show picture on my deskop. does same thing as mentioned RX470 above.
Would love some advice i've got some more gpus to try but would love them to get them running.
