Bridged pads on RTX 2080
The layout of the pads should be as you see in this picture. Does anyone know how to fix this mess?...

GIGABYTE VEGA 56 8GB bad voltages on 1.8V Rail
I currently have a Vega 56 that won't turn on. I have measured the resistances and continuity and there seems to be no shortage on any of the rails of the GPU.
However, when I plug the Vega 56 into my pc an try to measure the voltages, everything seems fine until the 1,8V rail. Consequently this affects my Vcore, Memory and PEX Voltages. Therefore I believe that the problem is betweeen my 5v rail and 1,8V rail (the Magic IR0 inductor on the top left of the GPU is the 1,8V reference I use and the R22 below the VRMs is the 5V reference).
My issue is that I have been...Last edited by Borges; 12-18-2021, 03:44 PM.

Re: Burned ferrite bead RTX 2080 LB617
I have recently removed this ferrite beads from the board and the GPU is working with the same artiffacts, which makes me believe that they might work as fuses.
It could be that the due to the ferrite beads being burned or not present on the board the 12V rail might not be closed therefore underpowering the board.
I think that the dimensions of the ferrite bead are between 2mmx1mm and 1.6mmx0.8mm

Burned ferrite bead RTX 2080 LB617
have purchased an RTX 2080 which contains a scorched component. I have carefully removed it with a heat station. The card is not short and it works, but it is seen with artifacts.
The problem is that I cannot find the characteristics of the component anywhere. I am going to attach a photo in case someone has the same graphics card and can measure the component or if someone knows which one I have to buy. I would really appreciate it

Schematics and boardviews for newer GPUs (RX VEGA 56/RTX 2080/RX580/ZOTAC RTX 2060)
I have been learning about microcomponents and GPUs for a while now to make an attempt to fix a few GPU I have bought from eBay.
For some older model I have started making some repairs as it has been easier for me to find the schematics and BoardViews' for modle sbelow gtx 1080/rx 480. However I have a few GPUs I have bought that I am having a hard time diagnosing or finding any schmatics/boardviews. These are the following GPUs that are giving me a headache:
- GIGABYTE Radeon RX VEGA 56 GAMING OC 8G
- GIGABYTE GeForce RTX™ 2080 GAMING...
