    Gigabyte GTX 1050 wont display

    Hi!

    I have a Gigabyte GTX 1050 2GB card but this does not get picture and the motherboard won't see the card.
    I checked the voltages and many values are fine:
    1.8v, 3.3V, 5V, 12V,
    FBVDDQ = 1.56V
    PEXVDD = 1V
    NVVDD = 0.8V

    But I found one problem the GPIO10_FBVREF_SEL voltage is missing.

    Can anyone help me where to look for the reason?

    Not sure how different they are but here is the schematic for a 1070Ti, there is reference to "GPIO10_FBVREF" might help?

      See attached.

      Remove all power.

      meter in resistance mode (2k scale is ok).

      Check the resistance to ground of pin # 1 of this mosfet.

      Post the measurement. Confirm the pull down resistor value @ R505.

      Is it 10k ? Otherwise, the driving port pin is sending out 0v or check for a broken trace between the driving port pin (BGA) and this mosfet.

        Thank you the schematic!

          Thank you the answer.
          R505 is OK the resistance is 10kOhm.
          The resistance between Q503 pin 1 and GND is 10kOhm, and also between Q501 pin 1 and GND.

          Maybe it meens wrong connection the PCB and GPU?

            Have same issue (thanks for posting this as we may be able to help each other) - see my thread here https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showth...81#post1114581

                maybe a short on pin 1 or 3 on one on those
                mesuring pin 1 gnd give u r505 as well...nothing more

                  Re: Gigabyte GTX 1050 wont display

                  I red another (https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showth...=103288&page=2) topic about of GPIO10_FBVREF voltage: "Examining a working 1080FE, drain is 0.9v until the GPU initialises and then pulls to 0v".
                  So, I think this way is wrong.

                  But what can I do?
                  I checked the bios and rewrote the contents of the bios ic.
                  Summerize:
                  The motherboard doesn't see the GPU. The fan is spinning on normal speed.
                  The main voltages and resistances look at the attached pictures.
                  If you have any suggestion please don't hesitate and share with me.

                  Maybe i should try gpu reflow?
