MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming USB ports not working

Hi Guys,

I got MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming motherboard that is misbehaving.

The board does not ready any storage devices, a usb keyboard and mouse work on all ports only in bios.

I connected a hard disk with windows and the mouse and keybaord only work when connected to the usb 2 ports.

I cannot update the bios because it needs to be done from a usb storage.

I suspect there's a hardware failure but i am not sure what to test ?

Did you try these steps ? :

1- Make sure if Legacy USB's option is enabled in Bios .

2- Make sure to enable USB BOOT in Bios (in case you think that will solve your problem to flash Bios from USB ) ?

3- Download the Motherboard USB 3.0 drivers from MSI website ?

4- Are the devices you're trying to connect , compatible with USB 3.0 ?

5- Are the devices you're trying to connect , compatible with your windows version , or they're too old for win 8 or 10 and/or 64 bits ?
