    Lenovo M920z AIO-PC


    The M920z shows only Black and White colored picture on integrated LCD, even in the BIOS. I swapped the Mainboard to another M920z. Still Shows BW screen.
    So problem seems to be on Mainboard.
    I Updated and Reset BIOS. No change.
    M920z uses "IQ370SV" Mainboard.

    What could be the problem?

      I think, I got it working again.

      First I swapped the U148 RTD2526A "Display Scaler" Chip, from Donor Board. - Nothing Changed.
      Then I swapped the two U7,U8 EEPROMs for the Scaler Chip.

      Then I got Color in BIOS again.

      After Windows Booting, the Display switched back to Black White...
      Then I Reset Windows.

      At the moment I have Color Display again....

      Maybe I should have Reset Windows first...

          Hi,

          i have Lenovo ThinkCentre M700. I do a bios update over Lenovo homepage. Update gone wrong and i had to repair the bios from Lenovo Website dump.
          It worked, but dmi information was missing. So i copied it from old Bios to repaired dumb. But after writing it back the M700 doesn't work. LED only is blinking on and off every 3 seconds.

          So i have 2 questions.

          1) How to copy DMI Infos from old dump into new? (want to learn it).
          2) What could be the problem now with the motherboard? I allready write original bios back, but no change. Turns...

          Lenovo P50 - nvidia issue - how to reset bios?

          My P50 has a faulty nvidia graphics card. It only works with intel. I installed Windows and it works fine withe the intel graphic.
          Then i switched in bios under config->graphics device from "hybrid graphics" to "discrete graphics". Now i have no picture.

          I reset the bios over shorting cmos battery, but still no picture. So i need to change the grapics setting back to hybrid graphics again.

          I need a way to make bios changes over bios dump. Is that possible?
