IMAC A1458 GEN4 NOT CHARGING NOT POWERING

Hi all, it's my first attempt to fix a Plate and it became an IMAC, I know it's not easy but would love to try. I thought it should be U2 Tristar but at first glance I see that there is another ic that looks burnt at the edges: Apple 3355116 if someone can enlighten about this very grateful for any answers

ASUS X54H laptop thinks it's always charging even with charger unplugged

The charging indicator light on my ASUS X54H laptop is always on even when the charger is disconnected.

Windows also shows ''Plugged in'' when charger is not connected.

This problem started year ago gradually, when unplugging the charger the charging light took several seconds to disappear, then minutes, and now almost always on even when unplugged for an entire day.
Strangely, before sometimes immediately when plugging in the charger the charging light went away, and later came back with it connected.
If I let battery run out and say it has 3% Windows will...

Hello guys, I need some help for troubleshoot my personal laptop. It's my first attempt to repair a laptop, I have good soldering skills and basic electronics knowledge.

Dell Latitude 7430 - not powering on, not charging.
The USB charger is negotiating the voltage and the USB meter shows 19.98V and 0.08A on both ports.
When I plug in the charger the led on the power button lights up and stays on for 30s, turns off for 1s and turns on again for 30s and so on.

The main power rail is done by ISL9538, without battery I have +8.6V and with the battery plugged in...

Asus 2021 ROG Strix G17 G713 not powering on and not charging.

Hi,

I have an Asus 2021 ROG Strix G17 G713 that is not powering on and not charging. Board number is G533-6050A3250201.
When plugged in, I found that the 3.3v/5v regulator was getting extremely hot, so I removed, next I found a short on the 3.3V rail. Removed the two 3.3v mosfets and found one of them shorted, but still the short on the rail did not clear. Then I injected voltage at that rail, and found out that U60400 the 2.5v rail was also getting hot. Removing it changed the short from 0 ohms to about 5-6 ohms, then I remove a bunch of other suspect components but that did...

Strange! Acer laptop not powering on but charging the battery (orange light on when charger and battery plugged in).

Hello Everyone!

I have an Acer Aspire A315-42 laptop. I generally leave it on for long time by closing down its lid (so it enters the sleep mode). Recently, it rained quite heavily in out area. And the humidity and moisture seem to be high. So one late evening, after I opened the lid and turned on the laptop, it did power on as the blue light turned on but after it booted to the desktop screen, just 5-10 seconds after both the screen and blue light went out and laptop shut down (the blue power light turned orange). And after 2-4 seconds that orange light went off and the laptop died....
