Broken Capacitor on ASUS Crosshair VII Hero

    Hello and good day.
I have a problem with my ASUS Crosshair VII Hero board.
I noticed that a capacitor on the back of the board broke off. I have marked which one it is in the photo. It is on the top side next to the 8pin CPU power connector.
I measured approx. 12-13 volts on the one pad and ground on the other. I think it's some input filtering for the Vcore.
I would like to solder the matching MLCC back on, but I don't know what type it is. Can not find any schematics of the board to help. I suspect it's a MLCC 10UF/16V but I'm not sure.
I would be very happy if someone here could help me with this problem. Many thanks in advance!

Find out the capacitance of the remaining MLCC's to see if they are the same. Measure the MLCC in all dimensions. MLCC's size is voltage / capacitance related, Good quality MLCC's data sheet provide a size chart. Should be no problem to fix this not having a schematic.

Thanks for the helpful hint. Unfortunately, I currently have no way of measuring the capacitance of the capacitors. I'll try to narrow down the selection using the dimensions. Thank you very much for the answer and help.

10uF~22uF is okay, but I suggest to use a higher voltage, let's say at least 25 Volt. 16 Volt is too narrow on the working voltage, I think.

The capacity of this cap will be the same as the nearby cap to the bottom of the picture. To go sure to have same capacity, you can desolder the nearby cap and measure its capacity. Important is that the capacity is not lower. As this is a cap for the VRM 12V ATX Power it must be of good quality, and good handling of high frequencies. Thermal stability is not so important.
