    Biostar M7vig 400

Hello. I just recently purchased a Biostar M7VIG 400 motherboard to replace a dead AM37 from an EMachines system. The board is brand new & contains some Rubycon MBZ caps, but also has some other caps that have a "TZ" on them that I'm not familiar with, as well as some G-Luxon caps.

I know that G-Luxon has been listed as a bad brand in the past, so do you recommend that I have these caps replaced, even though it's a brand new board? Also does anyone know what this other brand is and whether or not it's a reliable brand?

    Any help will be appreciated.

Sorry, the other caps say "TK", not "TZ". Either way, I don't know who made them.

I have one of these motherboards. Mine's older though and has some OST as well as the G-Luxon. The "TK" and the Rubies are all OST in fact.

Good luck with it. I ran the board for just under a year and didn't have any problems, cap-related or otherwise - in fact I ran it for 27 days nonstop before replacing it with a better board.
You know there's something wrong when you open up a PSU and are glad to find Teapos.
Why I don't buy cheap cases!
