    Asus P5ND2-SLI Rev.1.03 capacitor leak

My mobo stop posting so I checked the battery and found it was dead. I replaced the battery and still no post. Then took everything of the mobo
and discovered a clear liquid around a capacitor. It looks like its bottom blew
out. I'm trying to locate a replacement. Its part of the DIMM capacitors
471uF 6.3v. Can anyone help in locating this capacitor? Were to get one.
    Thax.

Post a picture. Is in a polymer?

Here's a picture. The cap is 12mm long and 8.5mm wide.

That is a Fujitsu 'Functional Polymer' which is a hybrid between a lytic and a solid polymer.
        They don't have much liquid.
They do have a very little and it might leak with physical damage due to breaking the seal.
        Not too likely though.

At the top of the photo it looks like you may have KZG.
        Those fail even without bloating.

Thank you the post. I can see the seal protruding on the bottom of the cap. Would you know who sells the Fujistu cap and can I ?use a 470 uf in its place

That sounds like it got yanked somehow.
Maybe someone picked up the board by the cap.
If that wasn't it there is probably a fault on the board somewhere.
It's nVidia based so it might be a bad chipset.

An 8mm 470uF 6.3v polymer is what you need.
Those aren't too hard to find.
