Keeping wireless configuration sheets for clients on file?

I found that some of my clients I deal with are older and tend to be forgetful, despite me issuing a wireless network configuration sheet (printed and a Word file) with prominent words "Please keep this information in a safe and secure place", and at times, needing this information to change a setting on the wireless network.

IGT, a gaming machine manufacturer, keeps casino and venue configurations on file in case reconfiguration of the casino or venue is required, to reduce time and costs.

Should I keep wireless network configuration information for my clients on file?

(If the client finds out someone broke into their wireless network (which I secure best as possible, including the configuration password), they would go after me)
My first choice in quality Japanese electrolytics is Nippon Chemi-Con, which has been in business since 1931... the quality of electronics is dependent on the quality of the electrolytics.

Having this info on file makes you no more vulnerable to accusations than the fact that you set it up originally, so yes it's a good idea to keep a file with that info.

For some of my clients I even maintain a full system partition backup... for all I know it might have all their banking data, every email they ever wrote, etc, etc. I don't know, I respect their privacy and destroy data on any media or drive that I retire.

I keep that customer info on an encrypted flash drive AND on the customers PC. It's a pain when they can't tell you an access password or other detail you need to complete your work.
Oh the hours I must have accumulated sitting and waiting for disorganized and forgetful clients, while they rummage through drawers etc reading every scribbled scrap of paper they had to hand at the time of original setup. I tell myself "Its all the same price, right !?"
I asked my lawyer years ago and he said if I had taken "reasonable measures" to secure the data AND had customer consent I was safe.

I do this for a few such as law offices and police stations but it always stays onsite on external drives. They'd have me hung drawn and quartered if I took anything offsite !

Back in my real paranoid days, I would stripe a pair of cd's with encrypted data.
You need to hack the password to load the driver as well as have the proper cd in the proper drive, then you can start hacking the password on the files system itself.
Have several clients hate my password system, they don't like typing 40+ characters. But I point out, it wont be hacked, and you don't need it except for maintenance anyways.
Most clients don't mind a secure offsite copy. Once you show them how safe the offsite copy is anyways.

Lenovo ThinkStation P520 BIOS file needed
              by Forest79
              Hello,

I got a Lenovo ThinkStation P520 (Type 30BF) from a friend, asking me for a repair. Windows 11 offered a firmware upgrade as an optional update, and it failed.
The emergency flash procedure from the hardware manual has also failed. So, I asked an acquaintance with better skills to flash the BIOS directly.

However, the chip (a Macronix MX25L25673GMI-08G) has a size of 32 MB, and the BIOS file from the Lenovo website (extracted with UEFITool) has a little more than 16 MB. Thus, the software my acquaintance used (SiberiaProg v1.45, with a CH341A Programmer)...
