I have a HP L1510 monitor that is starts up ok, displays normally, and then starts going to a white screen. I have been able to hit on the bottom front of monitor and then the normal display works. Sometimes it will work a-ok for awhile and whamo white screen. Need to find out how to disassemble the monitor so I can see where the problem is.....thanks in advance

Re: HP L1510 opening case
Most of these monitors need to be pryed apart with a screwdriver, butter knife, putty knife, credit card, oyster shucker, etc (I saw a post a few days ago on that one). You can see youtube videos of some demonstrations by searching for lcd repair.
Once open, check for loose connections or suspect/dry/cold solder joints. Check the caps too.
