Re: Problem with Viewsonic VG920 lcd monitor
My first reactions: A lot of typing for very little information given. The pictures do little to help, flash reflection and small size make it difficult to see anything.
Points to check:
1. Power supply outputs. I would assume you have checked them, but would like some verification.
2. Status of the backlight control signal. Do the backlights go off, or are they switched off from the logic card (video board)?
3. Flashing power LED sometimes indicates a corrupted EEPROM.
4. Scorch marks in inverter area are common.
