Got lucky and picked up off the street a 21 inch Samsung NB21BSAS digital monitor, with HDMI cable, not a widescreen, but 1600x1200. It's just a tad dim, so I tried to adjust Brightness and Contrast. I usually turn down Brightness and turn up Contrast. Brightness was 100%, so I backed it down to 82%. I tried to adjust Contrast, but it was grayed out at 100%. Is Contrast grayed out because it's digital? Couldn't find any setting to free it up. Any ideas or suggestions?

Re: Samsung NB21BSAS contrast adjustment grayed out
On second look, not just Contrast is grayed out. Also Image and Color sections of the menu are grayed out. If I press Auto (Adjustment) button, message reads, "Not Available". BTW, it's not a HDMI cable as mentioned in the OP, but rather a digital video cable.
