I found this forum today and I have learn some very use full in repairing LCD monitor
I have two Acer LCD monitor which are very dead nothing no led no image
I do not see any bad caps I have not found any bad parts one of the monitor
The other monitor has Sims transistor that pop so I know that board is bad
any idea on the one that dose not seem to have any bad parts what could be wrong with it
I will post what the model # is on it later on today
they are the same model #

But today, I’m making an exception here. Why? No idea. Perhaps only because the repair details are still “fresh” in my head… which is ironic, given this is a 16 year old monitor that hardly anyone will care about today. It is new to me, though.
