Hello, I have a SR5006 that took a lightning zap from the hdmi port.
One of the 2 hdmi chips is visibly blown and none of the inputs work as far as i can tell, because the hdmi out isnt working
. Curious enough it powers on and acts like its fine but, i heat clicks switching from A to B speakers and the display and cycling inputs is fine. However i don't even get any FM radio output when i connect an antenna to it and try to see if the amp side is outputting sound at least, I have a feeling this is due to the Digital side being shorted by the bad HDMI chip(s). I'm going to remove them and see if it will atleast give me FM/AM output.
So before i drop a fair bit of cash on the HDMI PCM Assembly, id like to see if i can get the service manual for this so i can check as much of the other components as possible.
As a side note any one have a HDMI PCB for this unit??
