Acer e15-e5-576g-5762 bricked. Bios chip won't interface in AsProgrammer.
        by inck243
Thanks for any help. The board version is DAZAARMB6E0 REV: E. The bios chip is winbond 25Q64JVSIQ1736. W25Q64JV is not available in AsProgrammer -- only BV CV FV or FW_1.8c. The chip won't interface with asProgrammer and a CH341A. When I have this chip on the board, the laptop will not post but when I plug it in to power, the blue LED lights up, also the orange when the battery is connected. When I push the power on button, keyboard backlight turns on and the fan starts briefely then turns off. But I can't do anything to program this bios chip so I bought another one.

        The BIOS...

Older Bose Cinemate home theater system failure
        by Keshenatech1
I have an older Bose Cinemate home theater audio system. It only has 2 RCA inputs, no optical connector. The interface module is also what communicates with the IR remote control. The interface module and speakers are connected with DB9 serial cable type connectors. When the unit is in standby, a red LED lights up on the interface, and a green one when it is turned on. Or I should say it used to. I went to turn mine on the other day and no LED's were on, and there is no response to the remote. So I took it apart and verified the power supply seems to be working. Transformer has continuity on primary...

Steinberg UR44 Audio Interface No Power.
        by Young_Silent_Made_IT
I have a Steinberg UR44 audio interface that I had in storage for a few years, and now that I want to use it doesn't power on. I want to take this opportunity to learn electronics repair so I am trying to repair it for learning experience.

I am looking for guidance on how to proceed with troubleshooting the problem.

I have checked the original power supply with a multi meter and it works.

I visually inspected the PCB board and don't see any issues, except what looks like a possible broken fuse but not sure. I checked it for continuity it reads 97 ohms, but...

Help with Yatour YT-M06 Pioneer Interface (firmware or schematic needed)
        by EduCabral
        Hi everyone,

I'm currently working on repairing a Yatour YT-M06 multimedia interface (used with Pioneer head units). I'm looking for the firmware or schematic diagram to troubleshoot the board, as it's currently unresponsive.

If anyone has any documentation, tips, or experience with this specific unit, I'd appreciate any help!

        Thanks in advance,
        Eduardo (from Brazil)

Definitions of "bus" and "interface" are distinctly different
        by japlytic
A bus is defined as one where at least one of its signals is bidirectional (e.g. I2C, 3 wire (Select, Data IN/OUT, Clock) SPI) and an interface is where all signals are unidirectional (e.g. 4 wire SPI (Select, Data IN, Data OUT, Clock); however, certain devices can switch from a bus to an interface and vice versa e.g. Secure Digital (SD) card and certain SPI devices.
