Midea MD1001LF control board not working

    Hello everyone,

I have this high powered microwave over that does not want to start.

When I plug it in the mains power, the fan start up but the control panel does not work, no display only the stop button beeps when I press it.

I checked main filter capacitors next to the PFC IC (TNY174) they are showing 328V and the IC drain pin is at the same voltage.

    The transformer has multiple outputs:

    3v3, -27V, -5V, -12V.

Now when the fan is working I measure 17V on 3v3 pin and 5V when the fan stops and relay clicks. I guess it goes to standby.

    Thanks in advance!

I assume you have checked all the capacitors (for both capacitance and ESR), resistors, diodes and octocouplers right?
The boards looks discolored on the right side of the transfomer. Everything okay over there?

I checked every resistors, diodes and the two octocouplers. I measured the capacitance of the caps but I don't have an ESR meter sadly.
I found a silicone diode next to the transformer which measures 2.4v on forward bias and OL on reverse bias.
I even desoldered the display to check under it, but everything there is also looks good.

So as soon as you plug the microwave to the mains the fan automatically kicks on? That very strange.
What happens if you disconnect the magnetron from the circuit board?

LG 60PK550 Logic Control Board EBR63450301
            by Yanleb
Hi all, I just want to share the repair of my 60PK550-UA TV set.

The TV set was powering on, just no image. After verification, nothing wrong on the YSus or ZSus boards. Nothing wrong on the main board either.

But I noticed that the LED was not flashing on the Logic Control Board. This is an EBR63450301. The LED is supposed to flash even with all the flat cables disconnected, with only the power cable attached.

All the voltages measured at the electrolytic capacitors on the board were good. From top left to bottom right:
            C57: 3.30V
            C61:...

Linear Garage Door Opener Control board took a crap install a new control board back normal

I have been having issues with this garage door opener for a while first the range of the remote was a lot less and sometimes it would start to go down and stop for no reason that I could find and would every once in awhile to start with then it started going more frequently until last Saturday when I opened the garage door it refused to close so I cranked up force all the way maximum limit this did not work also the sensor on one side that has a green and red lights that are supposed to be on when the door is open and there are no obstacles in the way on the original board the only light that...

Stubborn GIGABYTE B365M AORUS ELITE - main PCIe x16 GPU port working only in x8 width mode
            by DynaxSC
            Hi,

I have this board, where I have exchanged the LGA1151 socket. During testing I discovered, that the large PCIEX16 slot won't by no force work in x16 mode, but keeps to work in x8 mode only.
I tested this with GPU-Z, also with Render Test (but tried also Furmark and Heaven Benchmark - no effect).
Tested on Core i5-9600K as well as on an Pentium G5420 and MSI NVIDIA GTX1070 and 2 other cards, including RTX3060Ti.
Board architecture definitely allows x16 mode, as all 16 PCIe lanes are present between CPU and main GPU slot (nearest to CPU).

Samsung UN55H8000AF - No Picture, Working Backlight, Replaced T-Con Board
            by ermals
            Hi all!
I've recently run into an issue with my Samsung UN55H8000AF LED TV displaying no image. I've done quite a bit of research in terms of what could be wrong with it. Below are the steps I've taken prior to reaching out here for some assistance:

            1. I've tried replacing the T-Con board (BN95-01594A), twice and have still experienced the same issue with all the boards I've tested with.
            2. I've tried to remove one side of the ribbon cable that goes from the T-Con board to the panel and still not getting any image on left or right side.
            3. I've checked voltages...

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
            by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

            Assuming...
