    Electronics components and ic

    Hello everyone!!!,

    I hope in dedicated topic,

I'm in the process of opening my own electronics repair store, and I need your help with a list of must-have components like ic, mosfet, smd diode resistor etc... for PC repair. and purchasing links will also be useful. thank everyone!

I can make a suggestion to you if you are going to repair switching power supply I would stock up on the following capacitors@50 volts or 63 volts voltages less than this is not necessary (When ever I buy these values I buy them 100 at a time the 10uf I bought 400 because the brand that I buy is discontinued the series that I like to use KY and KZE ) I found an EBay seller

https://www.ebay.com/itm/141588510136 ( this is the only eBay seller that I would recommend )

    0.47uf
    1uf
    2.0uf
    2.2uf
    10uf
    22.0uf
    33.0uf optional
    39.0uf optional
    47.0uf
    56.0uf optional

Other values above 56uf depends on the voltages that you plan on working on but the most common are as follows
    1000uf
    1500uf
    2200uf
    3300uf
    4700uf

The voltage is based on the voltage output of the switching power supply that you are working but the diameter the height of the enclosure will depend on how high the capacitor can be and how close to the nearest capacitor is and what ever other components are in the area so this is the reason I would not comment on what voltages or diameter or height or voltages you should consider stocking up on ( I only buy ten at a time unless the device requires more than that ) but usually the smaller in diameter will give more options than a larger diameter will now height can be limited depending on the enclosure and sometimes the diameter can be larger but not always )

The ones that I marked optional is you only see them every once in a while I have run into them the 33.0 and 39.0 are very common in in servo drives and the 56.0 one I have seen in one servo drive I am not sure what type of switching power supply regulators you should have this would probably be based on the type of switching power supply you plan on working on other people that work on these devices on a regular basis should comment on this post as well as computer motherboard

    I hope this helps you

Delta Electronics ADP-230JB D missing components - help please
        by Flash993
        Hey everyone,

So I was trying to troubleshoot my Power Supply (look at the title for brand and model) for my laptop and mistakenly stabbed some components off. I have tried searching for a schematic/diagram but I could not find any at all. If someone has one please post it. I will add a picture of the components missing if someone with a bigger brain or the power supply PCB pictures wants to help me out. Thank you for your time reading my post for help.

Sparkle 1200W PSU MAGNA Model: SPM1200AXJ8 - Broken. Need help identifying components. Any schematics available?
        by Sam Scarbo
My Sparkle (SPI) PC power supply has broken. Originally, there was totally no power output. The 5V-standby was not there. I have replaced a few bulged capacitors but not helping.

I was trying to do more troubleshooting but burned more components. Some got burned so badly that the markings were gone. And also, the markings of a few transistors were gone because the component surface was worn out somehow.
If you happened to have disassembled the same PSU model, please help to provide the markings of some of these components.

See the attached two pictures of the small...

Desoldering gun station modified to use a 18 volt @ 20 amp switching power supply
        by sam_sam_sam
I have wanting to do this project for quite sometime now and I finally found a switching power supply that will work on this desoldering gun station ZD-915 that the original switching power supply took a shit and just was not worth trying to fix it because this switching power is not quite big enough to handle the heater element and the vacuum pump

One note when I tested the switching power supply and the voltage control board I noticed that this desoldering gun heat up much faster than the original switching power supply which I was really surprised by to the point that I might buy...

Please help to identify the components on Surface Laptop GO3, model 2013, i5-1230U
        by User2025
        Hi,

I am working on a Surface Laptop GO 3, which is the new release 2024 with a i5-1230U processor. Originally, it had a 256GB SSD, then the owner attempted to upgrade it to 1TB SSD by himself. "Surprisingly", it did not boot afterwards, then changed back to the original SSD, did not boot either.

It turned out to be that just a couple of components had been knocked off when the owner was trying to get off the SSD cover with his beloved screw driver.

I do not have another board of same model. Although I have a Laptop Go 2, the layout of that bit...

        Fridge - Gram
        by tmcw
Have this fridge, laboratory grade unit, not working fully.

It's designed with a chilling unit at the top, on the inside, and a fan just below that. When the door is closed, the fan blows the cold air down through the fridge, and when the door opens, the fan switches off, presumably so that it doesn't blow all the cold air out.

The fan isn't switching on, so in addition to not having uniform cold throughout the fridge, the chilling tubes tend to ice up. I took the lid off the top, electronics are in the lid, and when the door is opened and closed, I can hear the relevant...
