I'm not sure which way one of the electrolytic capacitors is suppose to be installed on this blue esr meter.
The cap in question is the 22uF 16V cap that is installed lying on its side.
I'm borrowing a picture from krankshafts post about this meter for clarification (thanks krankshaft
) I've circled the cap in red.
There is a plus sign printed on the pcb, but it appears to be equidistant between the two holes... so Im confused which one is suppose to be positive.
I have tried following traces around a little in hopes of determining polarity, but I'd prefer to hear from somebody who knows for sure. I'm thinking positive on the left and negative on the right (seems to be from krankshafts picture as well)
Thanks.
