MacBook Pro M1 Activate Mac
Sorry,I'm using my phone right now and couldn't find any search bar to search on the topic of macbooks.
Few weeks back(mid may),I had bought a MacBook pro m1 A2338. It belonged to my friend's younger brother who was a graphic designer,he gave me this MacBook without any icloud account linked to it and I had so much work during that times that I only used it for storage while traveling for shoots (I'm a photographer). So long story short,his brother got involved in a bad accident and was in coma and then fairly recently they pulled out his life support. I mistakenly did an erase Mac and now it's asking for his icloud details which I feel bad for asking right now (mourning period) and I'm not even sure if they have his iphone unlocked and can turn off find my on his iphone for the MacBook if it still shows. What are the other options? I found some other methods that requires another MacBook though,even the t203 usb configurator which is like $600fjd,there are people who are claiming it can be done by $150 USD etc but I don't trust those.
I spent about $2000 fjd for this one and I feel bad for it being paperweight now and I also do have alot of upcoming traveling coming up and wanted it to get going. Is there any other way that people have tried and got it unlocked?
There's another m1 air for sale for $1500fjd but it's the base model which is 8gb ram and 256gb ssd which will be my last option to spend on.
