Does it matter the type of cap that you get

I need to replace some caps in my console and came across this https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00MM...F7L&ref=plSrch

The type of cap that I need is a 820uF 6.3V. I also noticed a Mfz on the cap. However on amazon I see MCZ caps instead at a great price. Will these still work in my system even though it's MCZ and not MFZ?

The type does matter (in this case ultra-low ESR motherboard grade caps), but the exact brand and series doesn't, as long as the replacements are equivalent. Rubycon MFZs were an OE only series not available to the general public, MBZ/MCZ (or ZLG for current production)are probably the closest you are going to get, Nichicon HN/HZ, and Panasonic FM would also likely be good options.

MFZ's are smaller, you probably need to use polymer caps to fit in the same space.
