    Delta DPS-450CB-1 A Redundant PSU

    I have two of these badged as Compaq spares for;
    Compaq Proliant ML530 ML570 G1 Server 450W Redundant Power Supply

    The datasheet can be found at;

    Being hotswap, can anyone help as to how to test one of these?
    They have spade connectors and I believe an I2C control block.

    Apparently (according to the datasheet), these require a min. load
    of 0.5A on the +3.3V, +12V and +5v rails.

    If I can figure out how the spades correspond to the rails, would
    it be safe(ish) to power the unit on and test the no load O/P
    readings with a m/meter?

    I really just require to establish if these are working.

    Of course, if I had thought about it, I should have grabbed
    the connector and loom from the server they were removed
    from to rustle up a quick test rig.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

    You can use regular light bulbs for loads I think.
    Will alligator clips work to connect?
    Don't forget to jumper Power_On to ground.
