LG 226WTX several seconds to white

Got this nice 22 inch LG from a business associate who sold a client a new monitor to replace this one which is just out of warranty.

Just for something different, this one is several seconds to WHITE.
Never heard of an intermittent white screen before, it's usually lack of power/bad fuse.

I tested it first, sure enough a few seconds after power-on the screen goes white.

    I disassembled it.
I can't believe that a 22 inch monitor has no screws holding the back "cage" on. Fairly easy to work on, removed the ps/inverter and inspected.
Samxon GFs at the output, one very slightly bulging.
Replaced all the caps including the 47@50 and 1@50 but not the 2 big ones.

Measuring the GFs revealed the following:

    1000 @ 16 = 12uf 8.5ohm ESR
    1000 @ 16 = 922uf .2 ohm ESR
    1000 @ 25 = 250uf .5 ohm ESR
    680 @ 25 = 606uf .1 ohm ESR
    680 @ 25 = 612uf .1 ohm ESR

It's partially assembled and on test at the moment, so far looks really good.
36 Monitors, 3 TVs, 4 Laptops, 1 motherboard, 1 Printer, 1 iMac, 2 hard drive docks and one IP Phone repaired so far....

For the newbies, pay attention. smason noticed one bulging cap, but caps do not have to be bulged in order to be bad.

According to Samxon GF datasheet at

    https://cdn.badcaps-static.com/pdfs/...f9651347cb.pdf

    1000uF 16V, ESR should be 0.060 ohm
    1000uF 25V, ESR should be 0.046 ohm
    680uF 25V , ESR should be 0.060 ohm

Now compare these datasheet specifications with the readings that smason posted above.

And it was just barely bulged. 20 monitors ago I wouldn't have noticed it, it was pretty subtle.
I stared pretty hard to see it.

'course green GFs are replace on sight anyway.
